A week ago, Corp bank introduced pre-paid gift cards for this festive season. Following them, Central Bank has also introduced MasterCard pre-paid gift cards which can be pre-loaded with any amount between Rs 500 to Rs 50,000. Cards are available across all the branches of Central Bank in India.

Central Bank Pre-Paid MasterCard can be used anywhere the MasterCard logo appears - Online, Retail Shop, Malls, Hotels, Tele Shopping etc. In fact this is a great option for users conducting e-commerce with little amount being loaded on to the card without being int othe fear of site being hacked, disputing charges filing complaints etc.

The bank hasn't updated us about International validity of the card. So if your purpose is using itoutside, cross check with the bank before you go for it.

CorpBank VISA Gift Card

Corporation Bank, has launched a unique product offering to gift your friends and business associates this holiday season - VISA Gift Card. It is a pre-paid card in which you can top-up currency between Rs 1,000 to Rs 5,000 in multiples of Rs 500.

VISA Gift Card will be accepted at all merchant locations that display the VISA emblem - Malls to Hotels :-) This is a perfect substitute for Gift Vouchers which lock the recipient to certain Store or Brand or Mall.
