Andhra Bank and Kingfisher have tied up to issue Kingfisher Airline tickets to any VISA Card holder. All one need to do is dial Kingfisher’s toll free number and make a tentative booking. The customer will then get a BRN – Booking Reference Number.
The customer can then visit any Andhra Bank ATM and follow the procedure after selecting the Airline ticket booking option. At the end customer will receive a transaction slip which can be produced at Kingfisher counter at the airport to collect the Tickets.
I am wondering why can’t the call center process the VISA card directly and give a BRN. Customer can quote the BRN and produce Identity Proof at the airport to collect the tickets. BRN can also be sent as an SMS and e-mail.
