British Financial Giant, Barclay’s Bank is entering the Indian Credit Card industry very soon. Barclay’s plan to launch three cards – BarclayCard Gold, Barclay Card Smart Budget and Barclay Premium League card.
Barclay India is looking for partnership and talks are at an advanced stage. Mr Roy of Barclay India said,
We believe that partnership is a big way to grow in India. We are talking to a large number of prospective partners in many sectors with whom we can work and where there is synergy in terms of brands and sectors.
Barclays hopes to be amongst the big league players in the Indian market, It is aggressively exploring for co-branded credit cards with retailers in India.
