Rana Kapoor founded fourth largest private bank Yes Bank has announced the expansion of its retail offering by launching co-branded credit card in association with American Express.
They will offer the following 3 types of cards,
- American Express Platinum Reserve Credit Card,
- American Express Platinum Travel Credit Card and
- American Express Gold Card [ This is a charge card and Payment must be made in Full every billing cycle ]
Speaking on the occasion, CEO Rana Kapoor said,
Credit Cards are a natural extension of retail strategy and will constitute an important part of our payments portfolio.
At the moment, the card will be available to Yes Bank’s customers in selected cities – Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad & Pune only. Taking lessons from the most successful credit card portfolio builder in India, HDFC Cards, Yes bank is restricting its card offerings to its bank’s customers only. To apply for this card, just touch base with your Banker if you are residing in any of the above 6 cities.
