CORE India - Consumer Online Resource and Empowerement Centre

The Ministry of Company Affairs has set up a Consumer Online Resource and Empowerement Centre - CORE to protect the rights of Indian consumers.

CORE deals complaints of Indian consumers in wide range of areas ranging from Banking, Credit Cards, IPOs, Telecom Service Providers, Educational Institutions etc

I have to admit the fact that Banks and Credit Card companies need to be taken to task by RBI for their errant behavior and non-transparent operations. To file a complaint with RBI on bad credit card companies, write to the RBI Ombudsman here. Try to get your issues resolved with CORE, if not then take up the issue with local Consumer Court.

dear sir i applied for education loan for my son for admission to engineering college . loan was applied with state babk of india main branch lucknow. the loan was declined with reason that over due outstanding on my 5 credit cards. on asking the details of bifurtion , they were not able to provide. noe the overdue amount that they mentioned has been cleared by me. can now the loan be sanctioned. sir the reason for delaying credit cards payments was that for me the utmost priorty was to get admission and pay the requiste fee in time , pl also let me know that does education loan for student has any connection with the fathers credit cards outstanding.
